Rodolfo V Elizondo

Rodolfo V. Elizondo, 61, of Amarillo passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and loved ones for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the funeral home. Rodolfo was born June 30, 1957 in Knox City, Texas to Enrique and Petra Elizondo. He served his country honorably in The United States Marine Corps. Rodolfo married Gloria Rosales on April 10, 1976 in Tulia, Texas and they shared 42 years of marriage. He was quiet, hardworking, and a master plumber who loved his family. Rodolfo enjoyed gambling, scratching and playing the lottery, collecting coins and guns and watching old western movies. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, uncle and TaTa. Rodolfo will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raul Elizondo; sister, Rosa Escamilla and a grandson, Austin Gonzales. Rodolfo is survived by his wife, Gloria Elizondo; son, Rudy Elizondo Jr. and wife Sephora; daughters, Alexandria Gonzales and husband Ramon, Vanessa McClurg and husband Raymond and Angelic Gonzalez and husband Jose; brothers, Enrique, Victor, Juan and Rodrigo Elizondo; sisters, Nancy Arellano, Aurelia Villarreal and Maria Hinojosa; grandchildren, Alexis Boatright, Ivan Elizondo, Cassandra McClurg, Zackery McClurg, Arriana Gonzales, Avery Gonzales, Doniven Gonzalez, Alyssa Alba and Brittany Alba.
