Amarillo

Roger “Pappy” Bull, 64, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday April 1, 2023. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday April 6, 2023 at Hillside Christian Church, in the chapel, 6100 S. Soncy Rd. with Pastor Shawn Freeby officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday April 5, 2023 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Roger was born February 10, 1959 in Amarillo to Wesley and Joyce Bull. He grew up in Amarillo, and attended Tascosa High School. Roger loved cars. He was a “radiator man” for most of his life. He co-owned Extreme Exhaust and Radiator with his best friend and son, Eddie Bull and longtime friend Randy Crutchfield. He loved attending car shows and was a proud member of the (NSRA) National Street Rod Association. Roger was the guy who would give someone his last dollar, fix something for free and just pay for it out of his own pocket because it needed to be done. Roger sponsored countless race cars just to help others in need.

Roger married Lillian Kinder on March 25, 2009. Together they celebrated 14 years together. He was a true family man and adored his family and grandchildren more than anything. He was always willing to help others and never met a stranger. He was a good, honest man who will be missed by all those who loved and adored him.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Wesley Bull; one sister, Wanda Joyce Bull; one son in law, Johnny McDonald; two brother in laws, Melvin Sanders and David Kinder.

He is survived by his wife Lillian Bull of Amarillo; His son, Eddie Bull (Kati Jo) of Amarillo; His two daughters, Misty McDonald (Trey Cook) of Amarillo, and Emily Kinder (Joel Valenciana) of Canyon; three sisters, Debra Sanders, Beverly Brannon and Jill Maurfo (Eddie) of Amarillo; 9 grandchildren, Nathan, Mackenzie, Teagan, Kelsi, Devin, Grayce, Matthew, Joel Jr. and Eli; 5 great-grandchildren; Adeline, Tatum, Boston, Carter, and Henry. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and additional family and friends.
