Roger Dale Haskins Sr.

Roger was born on July 6, 1948 in Madison, TN to Bill and Laura Haskins. He moved to Amarillo as a child, where he was raised and attended schools. He married Mollie Parrish on July 31, 1973 in Springfield, TN. Roger drove a city bus in Amarillo for over 10 years. He always had aspirations of owning his own business, which were fulfilled when he owned and operated Storyland Snowballs and Ice Cream for over 15 years. He was a good, honest man and was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He is survived by his wife, Mollie Haskins of Vega; son, Roger Dale Haskins, Jr. of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Tammy Williams and husband Jessie Williams of Amarillo and Angela Haskins of Vega; 2 grandchildren, Bret Mayfield of Divide, CO and Dylan Williams of Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Laura Haskins and brother, Barney Eugene Haskins, Sr.
