Ronnie Edwards

Ronnie was born August 28, 1946, in Amarillo, to C.L. and Hazel Edwards. He farmed and ran cattle since he was in the 8th grade. He worked in the marketing department for Southwest Public Service for 28 years. After retiring from SPS, he became self-employed and worked for O'Reilly Auto Parts until retiring from them as well. He was very active in the community, serving with the Tri State Fair and Rodeo. He was on the Board of Directors at the Panhandle Home Builders Association and the Potter County Junior Livestock Association, where he was also an officer, announcer and auctioneer. He was a member of First Baptist Church and served as an usher for over 40 years. He is survived by his children, Debbie Munson and husband Dean of Caldwell, TX, Jeff Edwards of Tulsa, OK, and Dondra Stang and husband Randy of Pearland, TX; his grandchildren, Chelsea Broyles and husband Matt, Madison Munson, Brandon Stang, Teel Munson, Wyatt Stang, Logan Edwards and Hunter Edwards;a great grandson, Owen Broyles; and his sister, Bette Carpenter and husband Cecil of Amarillo.
