Ronnie Joel Rogers

Ronnie Joel Rogers, 61, of Canyon, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson St. with Pastor Craig Lawless officiating.

Ronnie was born January 11, 1960 in Canyon, Texas to Joe and Peggy Rogers. He graduated from Canyon High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a general contractor for Southwest General Contractors for the last 13 years. In his spare time, Ronnie loved riding his motorcycle and traveling. He especially enjoyed riding through the mountains in Tennessee. Ronnie had a fierce love for his family and his grandkids were his world. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church. Ronnie will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Rogers; and his wife, Denise Rogers.

Survivors include a daughter, Kriston Soliz and husband Robert of Canyon; a son, Dillan Rogers and wife Nicki of Amarillo; his mother, Peggy Rogers of Amarillo; his sweetheart, Leitha Bagsby of Canyon; a brother, Floyd Rogers and wife Debi of Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Holly Lamm and husband Joe of Amarillo; a step-son, Shayne Boggs of Amarillo; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

The family suggests memorials be made to Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson St. Amarillo, TX 79104.
