Ross Alan Flowers

Ross was born December 13, 1963 in Amarillo to E. Ross and Linda Flowers. The family moved to Dumas when Ross was 6 years old. He graduated from Dumas High School in 1983. After high school, he went on to attend Amarillo College. He married Krista Pflug in Dumas in 1991. Ross joined Thermo King in 1983 where he worked with his father. In 2001, Ross became the owner of the company. At the time of his death, he was the owner of Amarillo Thermo King, West Texas Thermo King in Lubbock and Odessa, Area Trailer Sales and Rentals in Amarillo, Lubbock, and Odessa. He was a partner in B Double R, Amarillo Boat and RV, I-40 East Partnership, and Area Work Truck Sales and Finance. Ross loved kids and worked with many organizations to help them. His joy was in helping people in any way that he could. He was active in supporting American Motocross Association. He was the "Dad" of the track and supported many young riders as they got started in the sport. Walk to Emmaus was one of the highlights of his life. Family was the most important thing to Ross and he especially loved having his grandkids at his house. He was happiest when his house was full of family and friends and he was barbecuing on the grill. Survivors include his wife, Krista Flowers; 4 daughters, Shayla Flowers Tucker and Fiancé Daryl Alejandro of Odessa, Stacey Flowers Logan and husband Patrick, Stephany Flowers, and Sydney Flowers all of Amarillo; 1 son, Garrett Ross Flowers of Amarillo; his parents, E. Ross and Linda Flowers of Amarillo; 1 sister, Tammy Banks and husband James of Houston; 4 grandchildren, Lainey Tucker, Lilley Tucker, Liam Logan, and Eli Logan.
