Russell Van Shuey, 49, of Amarillo, TX was called home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2015. He was born July 1, 1965 in Hale Center, TX to Jimmy and Virginia Shuey. He married the love of his life, Kimberly Fuller Krajewski, on January 10, 2009.
He worked for Pilot Logistics where he did his all time favorite job of driving a truck. He drove a truck for a living for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, doing yard work and cooking out with family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kimberly Shuey of Amarillo,TX, father and mother, Jimmy and Virginia Shuey of Abernathy, TX, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Pat Fuller of Amarillo, two daughters, Katie Jones and Beth Shuey of Tahoka, TX, 2 brothers, Grady Shuey and wife Tracie of May, TX and Chris Shuey and wife Kimberly of Abernathy, TX, one sister, Vicki Grisham and husband Gary of Abernathy, TX, 4 nieces, Lindsey Marrow, Casey Herndon, Taylor Grisham and Chrislynn Shuey, and one nephew, Jayton Grisham.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Hillside Christian Church in Amarillo, TX. Services officiated by Mike Nuthman and Bev Gambrel. A private family gathering will be held later to celebrate Russ's last motorcycle ride over the canyon.
