Ruth Helen Goach

Ruth Helen Goach, 94, of Amarillo, passed away on July 16, 2021. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday July 19, 2021 at Llano East Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Deckard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Ruth was born on June 20, 1927 to James and Selma O’Quinn in Denison, Texas. She made her life in Amarillo with her Husband, Kenneth Goach where they raised their son. Ruth enjoyed traveling with her family and was an avid reader. She was a longtime and faithful member of Polk Street United Methodist Church here in Amarillo.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth Goach.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Goach Jr. and wife Sallie of Pflugerville, Texas; two grandsons, Trey and Andrew Goach also of Pflugerville; family members, Joe Neinast and wife Esmerelda of Lubbock and Van Neinast of Amarillo; Patti Sue Eaves of Amarillo; close friends, Dale and Julie Sanders of Amarillo.
