Sabas Rivero, 60, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Funeral services will be 6:00 pm Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Iglesia Cristiana Amarillo Para Cristo, 2337 NE 24th Ave. with Pastor Ray Ramos officiating. Mr. Rivero was born December 5, 1956 in Satevo Chihuahua, Mexico to Vicente and Aurora Rivero. He worked at Poky Feeders for 23 years, and High Choice for 5 years, both in Scott City, Kansas. He moved to Amarillo in 2012. He was preceded in death by his father; his first wife, Socorro Rivero; and three siblings. Survivors include his wife, Maricela Barriga-Salazar; four daughters, Consuelo Hernandez and husband Aron, Abigail Trejo and husband Chris all of Scott City, Kansas; Beatriz Rivero, Alejandra Rivero and husband Jose all of Amarillo; his mother, Aurora Rivero of Chihuahua, Mexico; four sisters; three brothers; and seven grandchildren.
