Samuel Jr. De Leon, 21, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday November 27, 2021. Samuel will be available for viewing on Wednesday December 01, 2021. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Samuel was born on November 15, 2000 in Amarillo to Samuel and Irma De Leon. He attended Palo Duro High School. Samuel loved to play his PlayStation; his favorite game was Grand Theft Auto. He enjoyed working on his truck, a Dodge Ram, and loved watching the UFC fights. Samuel was very talented and loved to play his guitar as well. He was always looking forward to spending time with his family and was always close to his sisters. He loved his parents very much and enjoyed the relationship they had. He was taken too soon from all those that loved him and he will be deeply missed.
Samuel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Berta Hernandez and one grandfather, Ramiro Galindo.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Samuel and Irma De Leon of the home; two sisters, Samantha Hernandez and husband Carlos of Amarillo and Nadine De Leon and husband Zachary of Amarillo; one grandmother, Maria Galindo of El Paso; two uncles, Juvencio Galindo of Amarillo and Miguel Galindo of Dallas. Survivors also include a host of additional family and close friends.
