Sandra Kay Lewis

Sandra Kay Lewis, 65, of Amarillo died Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Saturday at Washington Ave. Christian Church, 3800 S. Washington St. with Pastor Billy Kersh officiating. Sandra was born July 1, 1953 in Amarillo to Walter and Wanda Allen. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1970. Over the years, she worked at IBP, Travis Middle School, and BSA. She has worked at Walmart for the past several years. Sandra was a talented crafter. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and scrapbooking. She loved cooking and adored dogs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tracie Lewis; a granddaughter, Jordan Calderon; two sisters, Shelia Wilborn and Sue Conklin; and a brother-in-law, Danny Ratliff. Survivors include two sons, Chris Lewis and wife Jamie, and Scott Lewis and wife Yvonne all of Amarillo; two sisters, Joyce Stephens and husband Jimmy, and Patsy Ratliff all of Amarillo; a brother, Charles Allen of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Eryn, Gabriel, Talon, Jacob, and Jetta; and one great-grandson, Sam. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Children's Miracle Network Triathlon, 500 S. Taylor St. Ste# 1060, Amarillo, TX 79101, or www.tritomakeadifference.org.
