Sandra Kaye Tipton-Mcpherson

Sandra Kaye Tipton McPherson of Amarillo passed away August 17, 2022 in Amarillo surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home from 5-7 pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Burial will be Thursday, August 25, 2022 in Coleman County Cemetery at 1:00 pm.

Sandra was born on October 18, 1939 to Aldric and Eula LeBlanc in Shamrock, Texas. She was a kind, strong, loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister. She loved and lived for her family and her grandchildren were especially precious to her. One of Sandra’s favorite activities was line dancing. She was very connected to her line dancing family. Sandra enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years. She was a member of Church at Quail Creek. Sandra worked at Hope Choice as a sonogram coordinator for over 15 years. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents;  her husband of 46 years Bobby “Gene” Tipton; granddaughter Nikki Lynn Lape; brothers Dennis LeBlanc and Wendell LeBlanc and brother-in-law Dalon Perkins.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Carolynn Tipton; Robert Tipton and wife Amy; Shanna Tipton Green and husband Dusty and Bobby Tipton and wife Quinn, sister and best friend Sharon Perkins along with five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren and nine nieces and one nephew.
