Sandy Chantharaj

Sandy Chantharaj, 56, passed away peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Sandy is the daughter of Kom & Noumek Thipsipasom. In 1978, Sandy married Sathien Chantharaj and they had three children together. Sandy worked tirelessly and selflessly to provide the best upbringing for her children. She effortlessly showed through example that a strong work ethic and self-sacrifice could provide a better life for her family. Making sure her children received an education was important to Sandy, and she accomplished this goal when all three of them graduated college. Sandy also became a proud grandmother to three young grandbabies, providing them with the love and attention that only a Grandma can bring. Because of her generous nature, Sandy was genuinely loved by everyone who got to know her. Countless friends considered her family because she treated them as such, impacting their lives with the quiet warmth and care she was known for. Sandy was also very involved in her church as an active member. Sandy is survived by her husband Sathien; children Judith, Sherry and Peter; grandchildren Olivia, Camille, and Isabella; sisters Sing Keomoungkhoune and Omaly Bounsing; brothers Thip and Bee Thipsipasom; and 21 nieces and 9 nephews.
