Sandy Warner Ross

Sandy Warner Ross, 63, of Amarillo, died Monday January 14, 2019. Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. Sandy was born October 24, 1955 in Amarillo to Dwaine and Ina Warner. She graduated from Tascosa high School in 1973. She married Vince Ross on her birthday in 1990. She worked at her family’s business, Southwest Landfill for many years. She also co-owned and operated Ross Trucking with Vince. Sandy was devoted to her family. She adored her kids and grandkids. She loved horses. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to casinos. Sandy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Patricia Ann Warner. Survivors include her husband, Vince Ross of Amarillo; three sons, Johnny Warner and wife Brandi, Steve Warner and wife Jayme, and Joshua Ross and wife Rene all of Amarillo; two daughters, Jolene Riley and husband Gary of Amarillo, and Lela Ross of Tucumcari; two sisters, Carol Warner, and Patty Avery and husband Pat all of Amarillo; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
