Scott Jones

Scott Jones, 50, of Amarillo, died Monday, August 13, 2018. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Thursday at Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. with Pastor Craig Albracht of Hillside Christian Church-South Campus officiating. Scott was born September 3, 1967 in Amarillo to Gene and Eileen Jones. He attended Amarillo High School. He did sign work for several years and also worked for the City of Amarillo. In his spare time he enjoyed his aquariums. He adored his two dogs, Missy and Lily. Scott will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by three grandparents; and his uncle Roger Cunningham. Survivors include his parents, Gene and Eileen Jones; his grandmother, Ellen Cunningham; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family suggests memorials be made to Guide Dogs for the Blind, PO Box 3950, San Rafael, CA 94912-3950.
