Sean was born April 4, 1985 in Fort Campbell, TN to Rex and Colleen Purviance. He moved to Amarillo as a child, graduating from Tascosa High School in 2004. He worked as a Frac-Tech for many years, as well as working for the Texas Department of Corrections Clements Unit. Due to his tremendous work ethic, he always kept a good report with past employers. He had a great love for his Camaro, "Black Beauty" was an avid Lakers fan and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Above all, Sean was an amazing "Bubba" to his siblings, a loving son, and a proud uncle.
He is survived by his mother, Colleen Purviance; 4 sisters, Stefanie Patterson and husband Shane, Rachel Hardy husband Jerry, Josephine Purviance and fiancé Randy Armstrong, and Monika Johnston and husband Gerald "Blake"; brother, Derek Purviance; 7 nephews, Deznick, Doran, Bretten, Toby, Dillon, Brandon and Wesley; 7 neices, Kylee, Shyanne, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Madison, Willow, Makenna; grandfather, Charles "Grand Pa" Purviance; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his Frac-in Family in the oil fields and his beloved "Kitty."
The family suggests memorials be to the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.
