Sharon Peters Hamilton

Sharon was born in Friona, TX to Eugene and Patsy Peters June 29, 1955. Raised primarily in Gravette, AK graduating in 1973 from Gravette High School. While in Gravette High School she was homecoming queen for multiple sports, crowned Miss Gravette, and excelled in cheerleading. After moving to Amarillo, she worked at the Globe News & Levi Strauss. After meeting the love of her life in 1992, Larry Hamilton, they were married in 1995. She was a Christian and member of Victory Church, and loved the lord. Sharon was an avid reader, especially of mystery. She loved to decorate her house, and shop for stylish clothes and shoes, many of which she gave away. Sharon loved her Maltese Lizzy Mae whom was a huge part of her life. Taking her to classes, and training her further at home. Retired only 30 days she launched to heaven from Estes Park, CO. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Peters, and a sister Brenda Nichol She is survived by her husband Larry, mother Patsy Greer, Sister Lynn Francis and husband Barry. Brothers Bobby Peters and wife Cindy of Glenwood Sprgs., Co. and David Morris of Las Vegas, Nv. Step-Daughters Cindy Hamilton of Grapevine, Tx, Loni Karnes and husband Brady of Austin, Tx. 5 Grand Kids, numerous nieces and nephews, and doggie Lizzy Mae.
