Sheila (Kilman) Gann

Celebrating the life of Sheila Gann December 13, 1956 - April 20, 2025 Sheila Raye Gann (Kilman), lifelong resident of Amarillo, Texas, passed into the arms of Jesus on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the age of 68. Sheila was the last surviving grandchild of the Lilly Gertrude Hughes family that settled in Amarillo in 1928 from Hope, Oklahoma. Sheila was baptized at the age of 11 and was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior. Sheila graduated from Caprock High School in 1975. She furthered her education at Amarillo College becoming a Registered Dietician and used her food service skills at Southwest Osteopath Hospital and St Anthony's Hospital, along with Amarillo College and Buckner Children and Family Services.  She later used her dietician knowledge providing in home care for a number of those in need of assisted living. Shelia shared her love for children  by serving in Children's Ministry at Arena of Life Church where she was a long time active member.  Sheila’s friends, family, and church family were her passion, along with attending the annual AOL summer camp, and she was beloved by many.   She touched the hearts of many with her warm and comforting soul.

Left to cherish her memory are her nieces; Debbie (Dave) Seibel, Peggy Kilman, Sandy Adams, Beth Standlee, Cindy Hatfield, Deanna (Davide) Lombardo.  Cousins; Bernie Chris (Elaine) Witt, Randy (Sherry) Witt, Bobby Witt.  Sister-in-law Delois (Billy) Spruill.   Framily; Roy Mobley and Donna Poyner.  Her cherished  fur babies; Gizmo and Winston,  along with many other special friends, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and in-laws.  Sheila was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, David Gann, her parents Robert and Helen Kilman, her brother Charles (Zelda) Kilman, sister Jackie Farris, niece Gail Lopez, nephews-in-laws; Gary Adams and Jerry Standlee.

Sheila's celebration of life will be held at Arena of Life Church, 8827 S Washington St, Amarillo, Texas, Friday, May 2, 2025 at 2:00pm. Memorable contributions may be given to Arena of Life Church of Amarillo.   Mailing address is PO Box 8577, Amarillo TX 79114.
