Shirley Linnea Green

Shirley Linnea Green, 57, of Wheeler, TX passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018. Shirley was born July 13, 1960 in Brunswick, ME to Charles Henry and Rhoda Loudella Smith. She was raised in Norman and graduated in 1978 from Norman High School. Shirley married Shorty Green in Wheeler on July 14, 2008. Shirley was an avid University of Oklahoma Sooners fan. She loved visiting the ocean and sitting on the beach. Shirley enjoyed cooking, teaching friends and family how to cook and working in her garden. She would attend local farmer's markets and sell the fruits and vegetables she grew. Shirley loved all animals and was known as a friend to everyone. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and most of all grandmother. Shirley will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Shirley is survived by her husband, Shorty Green; daughters, Tara Singletery, Amanda Singletery, and Linnea Singletery; step-son, Lee Green and wife Kira; step-daughter, Tausha Green; brothers, Darrell Smith and Clifford Allan Smith; sister, Linda Billmeier; a nephew; and 13 grandchildren.
