FRITCH - Shirley Ann Matlock, 63, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cox Funeral Home with the Rev. Chester Beavers officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Shirley was born Sept. 8, 1950, in Hobart, Okla. She grew up in Sunray and later moved to Amarillo. She met and married Don Matlock on Dec. 14, 1991. They lived in Amarillo for several years before moving to Lake Meredith about four years ago.
Shirley and Don loved to fish and enjoyed living at the lake. This allowed them to fish any time they wanted. Shirley loved doing crafts and working on the computer. She liked to sew, make quilts, paint, crochet and cook. She loved flowers and always had beautiful ones.
She was preceded in death by her father, Orvill Smith, and sister, Barbara Normand.
Survivors include her husband, Don Matlock of Fritch; a son, Jimmy Clemens; three daughters, Donna, Barbara and Trista; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Oletta Smith; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
