Sidney J. "Sid" Parker

Sid was born January 15, 1936 in Roy, NM to Anna and Ewell Parker, Sr. He married Darlene Greenroyd in Amarillo, November 20, 1962. He sold cars for a number of years. He even owned his own car lot as well. He was an avid fisherman and had worked with his brother Ewell, in making a fishing show made for television. In his latter years, he worked as a security guard for the Panhandle Plains Museum, Tyson and Nationwide. He was a member of Oasis Southwest Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Darlene Parker; his children: Jack Parker and wife Tracy of Corinth, Robert Parker of Amarillo; 2 grandchildren: Adam and Bethany Parker; great granddaughter: Lillian all of Amarillo; and a brother: Ewell Parker, Jr. and wife Bobbie of Las Vegas, NV
