Sonia Lynn Stephens-Boatman

A celebration of life service for Sonia will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Hillside Christian Church Chapel, 6100 S. Soncy Rd., with Rev. Mike Nuthman officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Sonia was born July 25, 1974 in Lubbock to Leisa and Michael Stephens. She was 1992 graduate of Amarillo High School. Known for her bubbly smile and distinguished laugh, she had a fun personality and a huge heart. She was a dedicated wife and mother, whose children, family and friends meant the world to her. She is survived by her husband, Matt Boatman; children, Marti, Kenli, and Cade Bullard all of Amarillo, and Kailen and Jaeden Boatman both of Paducah, Kentucky; her parents, Michael Stephens and wife Ruthie of Albuquerque and Leisa Greenhouse and husband Dane of Amarillo; a sister, Latetia Blackstone and husband Jeff of Big Sandy, Texas; her nieces and nephews, Haley, Easton, Brock and Emma Blackstone; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. The family suggests memorials to Amarillo National Bank Memorial Fund.
