Stella Mae Lankford

October 21, 1928 — December 3, 2014

Stella was born in Childress, October 21, 1928, to Edna and Ollie Lankford. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Canadian, as well as, the Red Hat Society. She retired from the post office after 29 years of service, and also owned her own fireworks stand for 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting. She was a very loving and caring person, who took great care of her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Granville, Durl and Lynn, and a sister, Earline. She is survived by her children, Melba Morris of Pampa, Stanley Lankford and wife Liz of Canadian, Loretta Rogers of Pampa, Carol Ulm and husband Larry of Oregon, and Marie Sims of Amarillo; and by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
