Steve Stout

Steve was born August 26, 1960 in Amarillo to Fred and Kathy Stout. He attended Caprock High School. He married Fern Lincoln on June 15, 1984. He worked for Firehawk Safety Systems as a purchasing agent for 25 years. Steve loved singing Gospel music. He worked in music ministries in various churches over the last 25 years. He has been an active member of Temple Baptist Church for the last three years. Steve was an avid gardener who adored his dogs. He also enjoyed communicating with friends and relatives on Facebook. Survivors include his wife, Fern Stout; one son, Kenneth Anderson and wife Susan of Fairbury, NE; one daughter, Katie Anderson of Amarillo; three brothers, Russell Stout and wife Judy of Duke, OK, Stan Stout and wife Tonya, and Terry Stout and wife Cara, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Sharon Grissom of Amarillo, and Cynthia Waters and husband Fred of Powell, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, McKayla. The family suggests memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church, 3208 S. Van Buren, Amarillo, TX 79109.
