Steven was born on May 17, 1993 in Amarillo to Tommy Golden and Marie Howard. He was raised in Tulia, where he graduated from Tulia High School in 2010. He was currently employed with Furman Surveyors, formerly Apex Surveyors, where he had been employed for over a year.
Steven was known to be funny and charming and was sometimes considered to be a goofball. He was a free spirit, could always make you laugh and had a smile that could melt you. Steven enjoyed playing in the mud at the river, a second home to him and his many friends. He was an avid Texas Tech Raider football fan. Most of all, Steven loved being an uncle and enjoyed time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Tommy Golden and Marie Howard of Amarillo; sister, Shadee Garza and husband Mike of Tulia; 3 nephews, Isaiah Alvarez, Zabian Garza and Kaine Garza; a niece on the way, Yalena Unique Garza; grandparents, Bill and Tina Howard of Tulia and Raymond and Linda Golden of Amarillo and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
