Steven Young

Steven Troy Young, 50, of Amarillo, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday February 27, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday February 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Steven was born in Pampa to Kenneth Young and Mary Porterfield. He graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo.  Steven enjoyed collecting coins and hockey cards. He was a member of the NRA. Steven enjoyed taking care of his grandchildren. He loved the movies and his favorite was “A Christmas Story”. He was loved and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors include his parents; his mother, Mary Coble of McLean and his father, Kenneth and wife Mary Young of Arizona; one daughter, Brittany and husband Cullin Criswell of Amarillo; two grandchildren Colby and Carson Criswell both of  Amarillo; one brother, Curtis Young and wife Dianna of Amarillo; one sister, Janet Harris and husband Terry of Pampa. Survivors also include several nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his former spouse, Wandella.

The family suggests memorials be made to his daughter Brittany Criswell.
