Sue Hunt

Sue was born in Paris, Texas. She married Henry Hunt in 1961. She and Henry lived in Plainview for many years. They moved to Amarillo 30 years ago. Sue worked as a waitress at Nu Griddle in Plainview. After moving to Amarillo, she drove a school bus for AISD, retiring in 2010. Sue was an avid bingo enthusiast. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to acknowledge Patsy and Jerry Green. The Green's and the Hunt's were life-long friends and raised their families together. Patsy and Jerry have since passed away. Survivors include her husband, Henry Hunt of Amarillo; one son, Henry Hunt, Jr. and wife Kathy of Canyon; two daughters, Tanua Mannin and husband Roland of Amarillo, and Jackie Tollett and husband Tony of Canyon; three sisters, Norma Holley, Goldie House, and Dorothea Williams all of Shallowater; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Billy Ray Hunt and Darrin Wayne Hunt; two brothers; and one sister. The family suggests memorials be made to The Alzheimer's Association of Amarillo, 5410 S. Bell St., Ste #411, Amarillo, TX 79109.
