Susan Deanna Lee of Amarillo, gained her heavenly wings on May 8, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 10:00 am at Harvest Connexion church with Pastor Curtis House officiating. Susan, known as “Granny Sue” to those closest to her, was born on July 31, 1964, in Amarillo, Texas to Jerry and Mary McNett. She was raised and resided in the Texas Panhandle all of her life. She was an amazing woman of faith, who loved spending time with her family and closest friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she spent a majority of her retired life attending their functions. Susan loved the beauty of nature, as growing flowers and plants of all types was something she loved and did well. She also enjoyed traveling, animals, and seeking adventure. Susan was the perfect example of God’s grace, as she extended it lovingly and unendingly.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Jerry McNett.
She is survived by her mother Mary Cannon; her sons: Josh Gordon and wife Kristin of Silverton, Tx, Justin Gordon and wife Heather of Amarillo, Tx; six grandchildren: Bently, Eli, Caleb, Bristol, Kaydence, and Jaxon; sister Julie Hulsey and husband Robert of Amarillo, Tx; and brother Jackie Cannon of Amarillo, Tx.
