Sylvia Dumas

Sylvia Dumas, 79, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Saint Hyacinth Church, 4500 West Hills Trail, with Rev. Guadalupe Mayorga officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Sylvia was born September 22, 1941 in Laurel, Mississippi to William and Kathleen Wedgeworth. Sylvia enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She enjoyed her cats and dogs. Sylvia loved her family and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Frankie Wedgeworth. Survivors include 2 sons, Anthony Thaggard and Casey Dumas both of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Belinda Morris of Amarillo and Sonya Krause and her husband Steven of Quincy, Illinois; one nephew, William Wedgeworth of Washington state; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
