Tammy Killion, 59, of Amarillo Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2021 in the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel at 4180 Canyon Drive in Amarillo, TX with Pastor Robby Barrett officiating. Tammy will be available for viewing Friday, December 3, 2021 form 4:00-8:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Tammy was born on January 22, 1962 in Houston, Texas to Allen and Sandra Ford. She married Mike Killion on April 7, 2001 in sweet outdoor ceremony in a gazebo at Memorial Park. Tammy was the glue that kept the Killion house together. She cared for her husband, Mike, and her son, Jonathan. She was very creative and loved to make homemade gifts for family and friends. Tammy previously worked as a cook and carried that talent into the home. A specialty she made for her son was spaghetti made with deer neck bone and jalapeño poppers. She adored her animals just as much as her son. Tammy would nurse sick kittens, adopting special needs animals, anything she could do for her or any fur babies. She also had very fond memories of Galveston Bay. Tammy will be dearly missed.
Tammy is survived by her devoted husband, Mike; her son, her rock, Johnny, both of Amarillo; her Mother-In-Love, Cloe Walker of Fort Worth, TX. Tammy and Cloe had a beautiful relationship as if true Mother/daughter. Other survivors include her two brothers, Buddy and Pete; four sister-in-laws, Carla Carney of Canyon; Jamie Baiker and husband Dale of Amarillo; Jackie Steward and husband TInk of Amarillo; Sandra Kaye Parker of Trophy Club, TX.
A heartfelt thank you, from a grateful family, goes out to Dee King Trucking, for their grace in our time of need.
