Tanya Kay Tucker

Tanya Kay Tucker 55, of Amarillo passed away February 17, 2022. She was born May 9, 1966, in Tulia, Texas to Temple and Orvillia Tucker. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1984. Tanya attended WTSU and graduated in 1988. Her passion was cheerleading and gymnastics.  She was a cheerleader all through middle school, high school, and college. She grew up a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tulia. Earlier, Tanya was a fitness instructor at WTSU and Mesa Petroleum. Later on she became the caregiver for her mother and her son.  She will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life will be held in Tulia at a later date.

Tanya is preceded in death by her mother, brother, Trent Tucker and her grandparents.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Temple Tucker (Mary) of Amarillo; her son, Brandon McLean and the father of her son, William McLean both of San Antonio; Sister-in-law, Kenda Tucker of Marble Falls and nephew, Travis Tucker (Sharla, Oakley & Talon) of Spring Branch; Aunts and Uncles, Ludene Grush; Val Tucker (Vicki); Jeanette Poole (Wayne); Sheran Childress (Chick); Joe Don Morris (Peggy) and many loving cousins and friends.  She is also survived by special friends, Ed Wright and Terry Holmes of Amarillo.
