Terry Eugene Gamblin

Terry was born February 27, 1937 in Amarillo to Albert and Sygale Gamblin. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1955. He married Helen Jennings in 1957. Terry proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. He graduated from WTSU in 1972, with a bachelor of science degree. Terry worked for SPS for 35 years, retiring as security supervisor. Terry had many interests. He loved street rods and motorcycles. He enjoyed guns, and was a huge fan of drag racing. He loved music, especially the Eagles. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Helen Gamblin; 1 daughter, Kelly Burkham of Amarillo; 1 son, Kasey Gamblin and wife Tresa of Waco; 1 sister, JoAnn Rutland and husband Gene; 1 brother, Gary Gamblin and wife Merikay of Tyler; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Ivey, Dalton Payne, and Grayson Gamblin; 2 great-grandchildren, Hailah Burkham, and Lauryn Ivey. The family suggests memorial donations be made to a favorite charity.
