On Wednesday, November 10, Terry Rich, a beloved husband, father, brother and friend passed away. He was sixty-eight years old. Born to Marsha Davies and Vestal Rich, Terry started his life’s journey in Roswell, New Mexico. He would later move to Amarillo, Texas, and graduate from Amarillo High School in 1972. Post graduation, Terry would enter the United States Air Force where he would serve three tours in Vietnam as a search and rescue ranger, and go on to become a sergeant. It was post-military when Terry found his love for building- he would go on to achieve his dream of becoming a contractor and building customized homes all across the Texas panhandle. Terry also found a passion for organizing and planning rodeo events, which would lead him to become a rodeo chairman for the Will Rogers Range Riders. Terry had a heart for helping cowboys and their families and a vision that would someday become what we know today as the WRCA, where he would become a founding member. Terry also had a heart for the Lord and led many people to know Jesus throughout his lifetime.
Terry is survived by JoAnn Rich (wife), Lyndsee Rich (daughter), Maggie Rich (daughter), Tim Rich (brother), Lori Rich (sister), and Beth Durham (sister).
The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 19, at 10:00 AM at Harvest Church (4808 S. Bonham Street) in Amarillo, Texas.
