Theresa Brewton

Theresa passed away suddenly and swiftly into the arms of our sweet Lord on Tuesday, July 15th. She was the last child of seven born to Clarence and Elaine Scherer on Dec. 9, 1960. She was 53 years young. She was a beautiful person on the outside to be sure, but infinitely more beautiful on the inside. Theresa worked for AIG Insurance for more than 25 years and was the director of the death claims department at the time of her passing. Theresa absolutely brightened any room she walked into, and valued friendship as a gift that she gave and accepted graciously and equally. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Joe; a daughter, Elaina Cunningham and her son James; a stepson, Aric Brewton and wife Marci and their two sons, Grayson and Kannon; a son, Aaron; a stepdaughter, Allison and her daughter, Audrey; two brothers, Andrew Scherer and wife Vicki of Denver and David of Seattle; two sisters, Mary Risner and husband Phillip of Austin and Susan of Fort Worth; and many nieces and nephews.
