Tim Gilbert

Tim Gilbert, 62 of Amarillo passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018. Tim was born in Amarillo, March 31, 1956 to Bobby and Lavonne Gilbert. He was a NRA Fan and member. He married the love of his life, Alice Rice, in Amarillo on June 28, 1986. Tim's hobbies included driving in BJ's corvette, hunting and target shooting. He was a member of the Amarillo Rifle Gun Club. Tim was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Tim is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Alice Gilbert; daughter, Brandi Gilbert; brother, David Gilbert and wife Katie; niece, Kelley Rider and husband Frank McKay; two nephews, Zac Gilbert and wife Amanda Espinoza, Eric Gilbert and wife Tonja; and two beloved dogs, Chula and Shelby. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 131 North Santa Fe Ave, Salina, KS, 67401.
