Todd Johnson

Justin Todd Johnson, 59, of Amarillo passed away on May 7, 2026, surrounded by his family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Todd was born May 17, 1966 in Lubbock, Texas to Gale and Pam Johnson. He graduated from River Road High School in 1984 and later attended TSTI, where he trained as a Laser Technician. Todd was a jack-of-all-trades who especially enjoyed the craft of carpentry.

In his spare time, Todd enjoyed motorcycles, playing pool, and participating in several pool leagues. He also loved watching old black-and-white movies and was a devoted rock-and-roll fan.

He had a kind spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends in need. Todd was smart, witty, supportive, and deeply loved dogs. His presence and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his parents, Gale and Pam Johnson of Amarillo; his sister, Renee Johnson of Amarillo; and his niece, Rainey Johnson of Fort Worth.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to your favorite dog rescue organization.
