Tom Case, 80, of Amarillo, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, October 5, 2017, at Paramount Baptist Church, 3801 S. Western, with Rev. Phil Tutor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm.
Tom was born September 11, 1937 in Hollywood, California, to Ernest and Jennie Case. He was a Seabee and served his country in the Navy as an aircraft mechanic, serving aboard the USS Ranger. On June 18, 1967, he married the love of his life, Jeanette Kay Johnson, in California. He retired from Trafton Printing in 2001 and was currently working for Auto Inc. He thoroughly enjoyed telling stories, golfing, bowling, NASCAR, traveling in his motor home and racing motorcycles with his sons. Family was of the utmost importance in his life. He will be deeply missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving him are his wife of over 50 years, Jeanette; his sons, Mike Case and wife Stacey of Amarillo and Kevin Case and wife Rhonda of Canyon; three grandchildren, Bailey Miller and husband Landon, Currie Case and McKenna Case; a great granddaughter, Riggin Miller; a sister, Barbara Nelson and by a host of other family and many friends.
