Tomi Lanham

Tomi Lanham, 32, of Amarillo, died Thursday, November 22, 2018. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. Tomi was born October 15, 1986 in Amarillo. She graduated from River Road High School. She had worked at Ussery-Roan Texas Veteran’s Home as a CNA. She loved her residents there, and enjoyed her job immensely. She was currently studying to be a sonogram tech. Tomi adored animals and kids. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her Papa, Chester Simpson; and grandparents, Herbert and Kay Lanham. Survivors include her mother, Trish Lanham of Amarillo; her father, James Lanham and wife Sharon Fleming of Van Alstyne; her grandmother, Lolly Simpson of Amarillo; a sister, Jamie Lanham of Amarillo; a brother, Bill Lanham of Amarillo; the love of her life, Bruce Bustos; two nieces, Aeryn and Tanith; a nephew, Bubba; and many, many friends.
