Tony was born August 24, 1957, in Amarillo to Anita and Wilson Rich. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1975. He was a local car dealer for 40 years. He raced go carts, mini stock and mini sprints at Amarillo Speedway from 1979 to 1985. He was the founder of Droopy Drawers Racing. He remained a car and race enthusiast throughout his life. He never met a stranger and greeted everyone with a smile. He loved to reminisce with friends and family. He also never met a stray animal he didn't like and was a rescuer of many in his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anita and Wilson Rich.
He is survived by his wife, Angie; a sister, Judy Collins and husband Cliff of Amarillo; a brother,
Jim Rich and wife Cheri of College Station; 4 nieces; 2 nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews; and 7 great great nieces and nephews. Without a doubt, he was everyone's favorite uncle.
