Tracy Don Young

Tracy Don Young, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the age of 63. The world lost an amazing husband, father, Baba, brother, friend, and an all-around great man. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 22nd at Pinnacle Community Church, 7305 S Coulter, Amarillo, TX with Kurt Ohiem officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Tracy was born in Amarillo on October 17, 1958, to Bill and Georgia Young. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1977. On October 18, 1987, he married the love of his life, Jamie. Tracy was employed at Budweiser Distributing Company in Amarillo for almost 35 years. He enjoyed work and made some great friends with his long-time coworkers. He loved music, the lake, his family, and great friends that were like family. Tracy didn’t know a stranger and he loved just about everyone. He and Jamie spent many weekends at the lake, boating and making great memories with their daughter, Karla.  He also enjoyed spending time with his beloved granddaughters, Adison & Kaelyn. They were truly the lights of his life.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Bill and Georgia.

Tracy is survived by his wife, Jamie, his daughter, Karla Harbison and husband, Billy, 3 grandchildren, Adison, Kaelyn and Kelton, his sister Lynn Young, sister Sue Nelson and her husband Neal, his brother Tony Young and his wife Janice, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
