T.J. was born October 10, 1982 to his parents Linda and Kent Gardner and his big brother Benton Joseph (B.J.), his partner in crime. He was competitive in sports and learned from his big brother how to be the best he could be on the basketball court, baseball field and later on the soccer field. T.J. was a true lover of soccer and played many years for The Drifters and traveled many miles out of town for tournaments. He earned a position on the Amarillo High Soccer team and remained a soccer fan even after high school.

He was a gifted artist and loved fishing with his dad, Bob Ebenkamp and their friend Lloyd. T.J. was passionate about tossing washers, throwing darts, organizing and supervising family games, but most of all beating his family at Wheel of Fortune every night at dinner.

T.J.’s wit and humor will be greatly missed. He was a true friend and loved his friends with his whole heart. He would do anything he could to help others, not only his friends. He volunteered with the MS Association and was an active member of the MS support group.

He was an uncle to two nephews and two nieces, whom he loved with all of his heart. T.J was also a great father to his beloved dog Marley Jane.

T.J. is preceded in death by his grandparents and one cousin, Carey Eatherly.

Those left to mourn T.J. are his mother Linda and dad Bob Ebenkamp; his father Kent Gardner and wife Teri; his brother Benton (B.J.) Gardner and wife Mandi, and their children Hunter, Ethan and Morgan of Topeka, KS; a sister Monica Sharp and husband Jon of Oak Point, TX; brother Dustin Ebenkamp and wife Sarah, and their daughter Ave; brother Austin and sister Kaitlen from Bryan, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and his beloved dog Marley.

A special “Thank You” to T.J.’s great team, supervisors, and co-workers that made Maxor such a wonderful place to work.
