Troy N. Trujillo

Troy Nick Trujillo, 52, of Garland passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Celebration of Life Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home. Troy was born on October 23, 1965 in Clovis, NM to Tommy and Helen Trujillo. He was raised in Clovis, where he graduated from high school in 1983. Troy later moved to Amarillo, where he married his love, Diana Cozbey on July 4, 2001 under the fireworks of Amarillo. He was employed as a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty for many years, retiring 3 years ago. Troy enjoyed being with family and friends, cooking and barbecuing for them and fishing and playing sports, especially softball. He loved football and was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Those who know Troy knew him to be generous and adventurous in spirit, sometimes a jokester and a prankster. He knew no strangers and was always the "fun" one to be around. Above all, Troy loved his family, friends and dog, Porshe immensely. Troy is survived by is wife, Diana Trujillo of Garland; his son and pride and joy, Michael Trujillo and daughter-in-law, Au'Shalyn of Plano; grandson, Malakye Cash Trujillo; 2 sisters, Maria Gutierrez and husband Joe and Phyllis Quintana and husband Kenneth; 2 brothers, George Trujillo and T.J. Trujillo, all of Clovis, NM; parents-in laws, Donna and Adrian Morley of Lovington, NM and Jerry Wayne and Brenda Cozbey of Missouri; sister-in-law, Jerri Lea Atkinson and husband Brent of Dickens, TX; 2 brother-in-laws, Roy Matthew Cozbey of Amarillo and Christopher Cozbey and wife Nicole of Groover, TX; godchildren, Priscilla Chairez, Elena Trujillo, Myka, Iyana and Syena Vallejo and Estevan Rodriguez and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mark Trujillo.
