Twyla Marie Harbison

Twyla Marie Harbison, 97, of Amarillo, walked into the arms of Jesus on April 5, 2022. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Twyla was born on August 13, 1924 in Upton, Missouri to Homer and Edna Stottlemyre. Twyla graduated with her associate’s degree and worked for the City of Borger for 27 years as City Treasurer. She was an avid traveler, and enjoyed visiting new placed around the world. Twyla was a Dallas Cowboys fan, loved to dance and enjoyed playing Bingo. She loved her family and always made sure her children were provided for. Twyla had a joyful personality, full of life and she will be greatly missed.

Twyla was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and father of her children, Don Fisher, one son, Don Elbridge Fisher and one sister, Wanda Stimpson.

Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Phillips and husband Phill of, and Francine Schaffer all of Amarillo; one step daughter, Brenda Pardee and husband Jim of Noel, Missouri; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
