Valarie Kay Blagburn

Valarie Kay Blagburn, 60, of Amarillo, passed away on March 6, 2021. Valarie will be available for viewing on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and Friday, March 12, 2021 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Graveside services will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Valarie was born in Amarillo to Jesse and Zita Turner on September 29, 1960. She attended Caprock High School, obtained her CDL and enjoyed traveling the country before finding her way back to the Amarillo area. Valarie never met a stranger and always enjoyed meeting new people. She loved working for CATO, where she spent the last 8 years making many friends and snagging a deal on clothing and jewelry. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many. Valarie was preceded in death byher parents; husband, Charles Blagburn; two brothers, Michael Ray and Shane Ray. Survivors include two sons, Frank Hanson and wife Chasity of Claude, Vance Hanson of Amarillo; one daughter, Rachael Hanson of Missouri; one brother, Jesse Turner and wife Lori of Amarillo; grandchildren, Raven Hanson, Kaitlynn Valdez, Danny Ray Valdez, Kaylee Pendleton, Kennis Hanson, Kaizley Wilson, Makenzie Duke and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
