Valorie Brock

Valorie Brock, 81, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday at First Baptist Church Chapel, 1208 S. Tyler St. with Associate Pastor Corky Holland officiating. Burial will be at Llano East Cemetery. Valorie was born August 6, 1936 in Vernon to Joe and Willie Fouts. She graduated from Vernon High School. She worked for West Texas Utilities in Abilene for over 20 years. After her retirement, Valorie moved to Lake Kiowa for nine years, before moving to Amarillo in 2005. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her daughters, playing bridge, and attending events for her grandchildren. Valorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Brock; and a brother, Linville Fouts. Survivors include a son, Joe Brad Brock of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Tricia Brock and Robbie Ritter and husband Cary all of Amarillo; two sisters, Linda Ford and husband Tommy of Dallas, and JoAnn McCord of Houston; four grandchildren, Madeline Brock, Blake Brock, Jess Ritter, and William Ritter.
