Vicente Cardona, Jr.

Vicente Cardona, Jr, 45, of Amarillo, died Sautrday, February 17, 2018. Rosary will be held at 5:00 pm Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr., with a Celebration of Life Gathering immediately following. Please come and share memories and stories of Vicente's life with his friends and family. Vicente was born November 26, 1972 in Amarillo. He graduated from Caprock High School. He married his love, Esperanza Mejia on their 10th anniversary together, February 26, 2010. Vicente owned and operated his own landscaping company. He was also a very talented glass blower. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and of MMA. He loved Shiner Bock beer. Vicente was a family man. His family meant everything to him. He was always there with a helping hand for anyone that needed it. Vicente was preceded in death by his parents, Tiburcia Lopez and Vicente Cardona, II; and a brother, Crespen Cardona. Survivors include his wife, Esperanza Cardona; two sons, Vincent Salazar and Vicente Cardona, III both of Amarillo; four daughters, Olivia Solis, Mariposa Cardona, Delilah Cardona all of Amarillo, and Jina Ramirez of Buda; and three grandchildren, Kylie Jo, Aaralynn, and Elyah.
