Victor was born September 24, 1957 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Leonor Gonzales and Felipe Jaso. He was a proud Caprock Longhorn where he was a state wrestling champion. He went on to attend Amarillo College. Victor worked in the hotel industry for many years, most recently at the Hampton Inn. His passion was music and he was a talented musician and song writer. He was self-taught and enjoyed singing and playing guitar. He was also an excellent dancer. Victor was loved by many, remembered in his community for singing up and down the halls of his apartment building as he delivered meals to his neighbors who couldn’t make it down for lunch. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Victor was preceded in death by his mother, Leonor “Nonie” Gonzales; a sister, Sylvia Jaso; and a brother, Marcus Jaso.

Survivors include his father, Felipe Jaso of Amarillo; his son, Cory Jackson and wife Heather of Wisconsin; two brothers, Tito Jaso and wife Nelda of Midland, and Ronnie Jaso and wife Yolanda of Edinburg, TX; three sisters, Rosa Lindsey and husband Terry of Midland, Maria Reynero and husband Felipe, and Mary Watts and husband Fermin all of Amarillo; and three grandchildren, Brianna, Kaitlyn and Zachary, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Survivors also include his wife of almost two decades, Christina Ann Jaso, and his 3 additional grandchildren who he also loved very much, Tommy Bullard, Ruthie Bullard, And Abbie Bullard, as well as their parents my aunt and uncle, Heather Bullard and Tommy Bullard, whom I know victor loved and checked in on when possible. Also missing is his great-granddaughter Sage Leighann Sanchez and his most coveted pet pitbull whom he loved and cared for for years.

The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to MD Anderson.
