Viola Jean Parker

Viola was born on March 20, 1953 in Greenfield, MA to Edward and Beatrice Powers. She worked as a home health care provider for many years in Amarillo. Viola was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She was a talented craft maker, making jewelry, ceramics, clothing and other artistic crafts. She also loved being outdoors and was especially fond of gardening. She is survived daughter, Christina Cobb and husband Pete of Benton, LA; 2 sons, Michael Parker, Jr. and John Parker and wife Michelle of Amarillo; mother, Beatrice Powers; brothers and sisters, James Powers, Cindy Childs, Terry White and Mark Powers; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and ex-daughter-in-law, Amanda Parker. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Powers and sister, Grace Russo.
