Viola "Genelle" Scarbrough

Genelle was born June 28, 1935 in Floydada to Viola Josephine Hinsley and Henry Kendall Wright. She married James H. Scarbrough on March 11, 1960 in Amarillo. Her interests were in oil and acrylic painting of houses and landscapes. Also, she enjoyed crafts of all kinds, especially wood Santa Clauses and bears. She and James loved to travel and of late, had spent a lot of time in Arizona. She worked as a book keeper for many years with Multiple Systems. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Southlawn Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Wright, mother, Viola Amburn and a sister, Vesta Lee Gillenwater. She is survived by her husband, James H. Scarbrough; children, Mike Scarbrough and wife Paige of Keller, TX, Debi Boyd and husband Jim of Irving, TX, James David Scarbrough, Bonnie Davis both of Rogersville, Alabama, Mary Ellen Gillis and huasband Ernie of Mobile, Alabama; also surviving her is a host of other relatives and many friends.
