Wanda Sue Major

Wanda Sue Major, 81 of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018. No Services are scheduled at this time. Wanda was born June 8, 1936 to Paul and Mary Francis Fletcher in New Home, TX. She enjoyed gardening and absolutely adored her flowers. She loved to paint and watch the creek flow in her backyard. Wanda above all loved spending time with her grandchildren and family and was known to preach about god to anybody who would listen. She will be greatly missed. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Survivors include, one son Christopher Mitchell and wife Betty of Amarillo; three daughters, Susan Denelle Mitchell of Amarillo, Connie Ruth Wilhite and husband Lee of Turlock, CA, and Cheryl Lynn Jones and husband Wayne of Amarillo; nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
